Weigh-in time is from 6:00pm-6:30pm, and the meeting is from 6:30pm-7:00pm. Meetings are held in Decatur Room #1 at the hospital. To join, simply attend a meeting and sign-up in person.

Fitness ScheduleWorthman Fitness CenterYoga Classes (all Yoga in AMH 1st Floor Classroom) Participants must bring a yoga mat to class.
Gentle Yoga: Wednesdays & Fridays at 10am.
Power Yoga: Saturdays at 8:30am.
Body Fit: Mondays at 6:30pm.
Cardio Fit: Wednesdays at 7:15am.
The Silver Sneakers Exercise Program is held on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays at 9:30am at Adams Memorial Hospital in First Floor Classroom.

MondaysMom's Support Group1:00 PMAMH OB Education RoomA support group for mothers will be held on Mondays in June beginning at 1pm. The meetings will be held in the OB Department Education Room at AMH. Come talk to other moms, share experiences, and get help with breastfeeding questions. For new mothers and pregnant women, babies welcome!

Saturday July 8thAMH Maternity Center Offers Childbirth Education Classes9:00 AM - 3:00 PMAMH Decatur Room 1Learn about "epidurals" and other options for pain relief, as well as how to know when you are in labor, what to bring to the hospital and partner support. We also help you know what to expect, and learn how life changes after the baby is born. The cost is only $20 for those families delivering at AMH. Thursday June 15thDiabetes Class8:00 AM - 2:30 PMAMH Berne Room The AMH Diabetes Connection will be holding their monthly diabetes class on Thursday, June 15th from 8am to 2:30pm in Berne Rm at AMH. Classes will focus on carbohydrate counting and dietary management, foot and skin care, exercise, the emotional aspect of having diabetes, self-monitoring blood glucose meters, and how often to check glucose levels, lifestyle hints to help control blood sugar, how specific drug classes prescribed for diabetes work, drug side effects, and drug interactions. The Alzheimer's/Caregiver's Support Group is designed to help ease the burden of the caregiver of dementia patients or others in a loving and confidential setting.

Friday June 16th Red Cross Blood Drive10:00 AM - 4:00 PMAMH Decatur Room 1 and 2American Red Cross will be offering a blood drive on Friday, June 16th at Adams Memorial Hospital from 10am-4pm in Decatur Room #1 & 2.

New Wound Care Clinic at Adams Memorial HospitalAdams Medical ComplexAMH will begin seeing patients at Adams Medical Complex (behind hospital) for non-healing wounds such as diabetic foot ulcers, skin tears, arterial or venous insufficiency, tissue injuries, or post-surgical wound complications.
Our team is certified in wound care and will provide many treatments including wound evaluation and treatment, debridement, cleaning, bandaging, advanced dressings, wraps, and pressure treatments as well as education. Call 260-728-3843 to schedule an appointment today!

Mammograms Covered By GrantWomen that meet the financial criteria below can use the Indiana Breast Cancer Awareness Trust to cover mammography services. Included services are:
•  Screening mammograms
•  Diagnostic mammograms
•  Breast ultrasounds
•  Breast MRI's
•  Ultrasound guided breast biopsies

May 17thFree Sports Physicals3:30 PM - 5:30 PMAdams Medical ComplexFree sports physicals will be offered to area high school students at Adams Medical Complex (behind hospital) from 3:30pm to 5:30pm on the following dates:

IHSAA Physical forms are available at high school athletic offices and must be signed prior to physical by parent or guardian. Provided by AMH Sports Clinic.

June 5th - August 3rdSummer Speed and Athletic Development with Joel Bone: 4th - 8th GradersMondays and Thursdays from 11:00am - 12:15pmBoth sessions held at Bellmont High School track and weight roomThis developmental summer camp will consist of speed work on the track, light explosive lifting in the weight room and safe/preventative pre and post workout stability exercises. Every sprint, lift, jump, skip, lunge, etc. will be performed with 100% exertion with a high emphasis on technique and stability.
Goal: To make positive physical change in each participant and to watch those changes carry over to their sport.
Instructor Bio: Joel is a 2009 graduate of Bellmont High School where he played four years of football and baseball. He continued his education at Marian University of Indianapolis where he also played quarterback for the football team. Joel is currently the Sports Performance Specialist at Adams Memorial Hospital in Decatur.
