Kathleen Heimann, D.O.

About

Outside of work, Dr. Heimann’s priority is spending time with her husband and four children. She enjoys activities that promote wellness and a healthy work/life balance, like coaching in local youth sport leagues and running in the annual Adams County 5k Challenge. She is also fluent in Spanish.

Patient-Centered Care

Dr. Heimann believes her patients should have a compassionate, comprehensive and evidence-based medical home where they feel respected and have personal ownership of their medical care.

Clinical Expertise

Dr. Heimann is the first AMH physician certified in IMPACT assessment and concussion management. She enjoys being involved with school athletic programs, our multidisciplinary sports clinic education nights and our community vaccination programs. She has special interest in obesity/weight loss management, adolescent/pediatric medicine, and women’s health. She completed additional training in NaProtechnology and FEMM programs, which help identify and treat common health problems in women, such as painful heavy periods, PCOS and infertility.
