Benjamin Hart, D.O.

Dr. Hart grew up in the Monroeville, IN area and went to Heritage High School. From there, he did his undergraduate studies at Indiana University and Medical school at Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Hart completed his general surgery residency at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township, MI. He enjoys spending time swimming and outdoors with his wife and two children. He is also an avid sports fan and watches the Colts, Pacers, Cubs and Hoosiers any chance he gets. He is grateful to practice in the area he grew up in and have a chance to give back to this community and provide great care.

Dr. Hart believes that each patient is unique and needs to be treated as such. It is important to deliver quality care to each individual while discussing all outcomes and possibilities, so patients can make informed decisions that are in their best interest.

Dr. Hart performs many types of surgeries including hernia repair, gallbladder, skin, and colon surgery. Much of his training was centered around robotic-assisted general surgery, and he looks forward to offering his patients the opportunity to receive new and innovative minimally invasive surgery techniques at Adams Memorial Hospital.
