Cameron V. Nelson, M.D.

Dr. Nelson enjoys spending time with his family. Personal passions include sailing, kayaking, mountain biking, hiking and music. Any day he can spend with his family outdoors, at a sporting event or enjoying a show is a win!

Dr. Nelson is committed to patient-centered care. He tries to partner with his patients so they can help be part of the solution. He believes that with education and appropriate evidence, patients are empowered to make better choices and take control of their own health outcomes.

Dr. Nelson oversees all clinical provider services performed at Adams Memorial Hospital in acute care settings, including the Emergency Department, StatCare, Surgery, and Inpatient Units. Dr. Nelson also serves as the medical director for EMS. He is responsible for the alignment of all providers delivering care in the hospital setting to the Adams Health Network mission and vision.
