Arlin Mitchel’s road to recovery is a testament to determination and dedication. Arlin unexpectedly underwent a partial leg amputation, requiring months of rehabilitation. He received exceptional care from the Swing Bed Program, designed to provide additional care for patients before they return home. A Swing Bed is a hospital room that can switch from acute care to skilled care. When he transitioned home, he became the first patient in our Mobile Intergrated Health Program. This program ensures patients receive follow-up care and medication guidance within 24 hours of discharge, supporting a smooth recovery.
