Anthony Hammond, OTR/CHT
Certified Hand Therapist
The Adams Health Network Rehabilitation Department recently announced that Anthony Hammond, OTR, obtained his Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) designation. With this certification, he will be able to treat complex wrist, hand, and finger injuries.
Anthony completed his master’s degree in occupational therapy from the University of Findlay in Ohio, in 2016. He began his career at Adams Health Network shortly thereafter, and he continues to treat patients at Adams Memorial Hospital, the Berne Convenience Clinic, Adams Woodcrest, and Adams Heritage.
Anthony works with diverse populations including pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. He treats a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions including pre- and post-operative as well as non-surgical shoulder, wrist, elbow, hand, and digit injuries. He also treats neurological and developmental conditions such as CVA, cerebral palsy and autism.
Anthony is certified in Work Steps, the leading national provider of functional pre- and post-employment and is the evaluating therapist for Healthē Habits for Living, a program that includes exercise and education for a healthier lifestyle.
