Adams Memorial Hospital has announced that StatCare, the hospital’s urgent care clinic has extended their hours during the week and changed their weekend and holiday hours to better serve the needs of the community. The clinic will continue with no appointments being necessary. Sheba Davidson, the Manager of Acute Care Services at AMH stated, “She is pleased that as of October 1st, StatCare will now be open Monday-Sunday from 8am-8pm and Holidays from 8am-2pm. She believes the extended hours will help families that work later hours and/or have after school activities, the earlier weekend hours will help with coordination of pharmacy hours, and it will be very helpful for our community to know that StatCare will always be open from 8am-2pm on holidays.”
StatCare is currently located at Adams Memorial Hospital adjacent to the hospital’s ER but will be relocating later this year to the newly remodeled Bennett Building on the North side of Decatur. The new space will be complete with radiology services and a new retail pharmacy that will reflect the new StatCare hours. The hospital’s Behavioral Health Outpatient Services will also be moving to the new location in the coming months.
