Mackenzie began working for Adams Behavioral Health in early 2025. She is a native of Hoagland. Mackenzie enjoys listening to true crime podcasts, “junk” journaling, socializing with friends, video games, mainstream and Indie music, and her favorite food is a seafood boil. Mackenzie’s favorite part about working in this field is having the opportunity to impact people and seeing the changes that people make to enjoy life more.
Patient-Centered Care
Mackenzie’s experience highlights working with those who have a trauma history. Mackenzie’s education focused on psychology and criminal justice, which allows her to understand many different perspectives and that people’s minds can work differently from one person to the next.
Clinical Expertise
Mackenzie has had experience interning with Madison County prosecutor’s office as a juvenile victims advocate where she would assist victims and family members through the criminal justice system. She also has gained knowledge from community mental health organizations.
