Kat has worked for Adams Behavioral Health since 2023. Kat is a native of Fort Wayne, Indiana, but has recently relocated to Adams County. Kat has previously worked as a Community Engagement Specialist, having experience working with disabilities as well as dual diagnoses. Kat enjoys reading, nature walks, crocheting and writing. Kat is continuing education in a master’s program. Kat has done volunteer work as a kids’ basketball coach, a mascot, and as an emotional support listener through 7 Cups.
Patient-Centered Care
Kat is dedicated in helping individuals with transitions into adulthood, primarily in the age group of 14-26 years of age. This has included job searching, school assistance, coping skills, organizational skills, housing security, substance use recovery, finding resources and community engagement. Kat has a passion for neurodivergent acceptance, the LGBT community and more.
Clinical Expertise
Kat has experience with physical, intellectual and development disabilities along with depression, anxiety, bipolar and PTSD. Kat also has experience with varying neurodivergences including ADHD, autism and dyslexia. Kat primarily works with teens and young adults but has experience working with all age groups.
