About

Madelene started as an intern for Adams Behavioral Health in August of 2023. Madelene grew up in Texas, but moved to Indiana during her high school years and currently lives in Decatur, IN. Madelene graduated from Miami University of Ohio with a degree in psychology and minor in childhood development. Madelene graduated with her master’s program at Purdue University Fort Wayne for Clinical Mental health counseling. Madelene loves spending her free time with friends, family, working out, painting, reading, and drawing. Madelene is Miami Native American and is working towards deepening her roots within her Myaamia community.

Patient-Centered Care

Madelene is eclectic with cognitive behavioral therapy, client-centered, solution focused, and utilizing different approaches based on the client’s needs to assist with a variety of mental health and substance use struggles.

Clinical Expertise

Madelene has experience working with children, adolescents, teens, and adults helping them work through mental health problems related to anxiety, trauma, depression, grief/loss, low self-esteem, LGBTQIA+, and relational issues. Madelene enjoys working with individuals of all ages and utilizing art and play techniques when needed. Madelene can be found seeing clients at Adams Behavioral Health.
